I think it´s almost 12 months ago that I watched a Ted-Talk from a Personal trainer.
His idea was so simple that my Girl and me decided to give it a try and stick to it and loose alot of weight and even change the quality of our lives for ever. The impact it had on us and our lives were not even imaginable at that time.
So what was it?
He told a story of his brother who was overweight, and the way he lost weight was to not buy things that make him increase weight. So rather than explain to him what exactly to eat and what to not eat. His mom and him stopped buying bread, noodles, rice and everything hig carb related like cookies, cakes and so on.

Wow I thought, what a simple idea.
We followed it religiously. Bread became a premium food to me, since i only ate it every 1-2 months and even then only in a restaurant with friends or family.
This is me in summer 2014 with my Girl on a festival ( remember: at this time I was already working out 3-4 times/week for almost 3 months. I started with 102 Kilos. At this picture I had about 91 Kilos on )
I will post a picture of today and of last year, once I am in germany so you can compare what is possible to achieve in one year, And even I failed a couple of times to go to the Gym. But it is possible, and every time you don´t go, will make it harder to go the next time.
Please allow me to give you an example on how this can also be used in other areas of our life:
Today I was sitting infront of my laptop just randomly watching my favorite motivational videos. When I looked over to my clothes I realized how much i disliked my style.
And how lazy I am when I grind poker the whole day or have coaching. Mostly when I give coachings I do not use the webcam, because I didnt shave or am looking like a degen. I do not wear nice clothes, because I think: What for? That I am doing it for myself, never crossed my mind.
So finally today I thought:
If I only had amazing clothes, how can I not shave? How can I fail if I have nothing that looks bad?
So today I decided to buy myself a bunch of clothes that really suit me.
I am about to fly to germany for christmas. It is 3 AM right now, as I am writing, the 23/12/2014 and I am sitting here infront of you wearing a Suit, perfectly shaved, hair done and I just finished a 30 minute workout before I got all this done. All this between 1 AM - 3 AM.
I love it.
There is alot to be learned here, I hope that you see what is so important about this story. If you change your surroundings to a way that you can not fail... You really need to try hard to fail.
Think about this little boy who was overweight. How should he gain more weight, when all he has at home is protein based and vegetables and fruits?
It is impossible for him to fail.
That´s what I wish for you too. Create your environment in a way that denies failure.
