  1. Nice workday, keep it up..and please post more often :p . I would like u to give me your 2 cents on my current poker career situation since you're a 180 reg. My main goal on poker is to make some side income while having fun playing and ofc improve as a player. I have a little daughter, wife, day job and not much time to play poker (~2h/weekday ..not everydays and a few more hours @Sundays). My main game are the 180man ($2.50) i have a 14% ROI over 3.6k games and i know that higher ROI's is somewhat easily attainable at this level. I play 10 tables, use HEM,TN. I know that volume is King in the 180's but since i can't put much volume i'm wondering if i should keep playing them or if i should try to learn another game (SNG's w/ less players or even cashgame). Sorry for the long comment and gl.

  2. hey man, sry i didnt answer earlier...was kinda lazy lol...
well i was in ur situation and would really want to play poker and make money with it, i would def play the 3$ rebuys, and totally ignore the 2s. there is no point in playing the 2s at all imo.
also i would cut the amount of tables...i tell all my students to do that. i had a rediculous discussion with a guy who makes 1k/month playing 30 tables at a time and i play 12 and make 5k+/month, in the end he still makes 1k...if u really want to make money with this, u should really play 3r, go down to 4-5 tables and always ask urself, what can i do different than others to make more money? the upsides are: more time for wife/child, more money in the long term, less headaches because of fewer and smaller downswings ;) oh and the less players u play against the more constant the winnings (should) get, depending on ur skill, but the winnings will be alot smaller. greets

  3. Tyvm for your reply i'll surely cut down the amount of tables. Thing is.. isn't a $1.5K bankroll a little on the short side to play those 3r ? The initial rebuy plus the add-on would make it a $9.5 avg bi . Btw ... i'm Portuguese and i was thrilled that you enjoyed the time you stayed in here :) .greets.

  4. well it totally depends on ur skilllevel, if the br is enough or not...
but lets put it that way..if your roi in them is abolve 40%, which is easily doable, then 1500 is def no problem.

I did a bankrollchallenge in december 2011 and started with 150$ and build it up to 1500 in a short time and what i did was play the 2,50$ 180mans from 500$ till 700$ then use 200$ to take shots for 8 and 3r 180 mans... when i loose the 200$ i would go down and play the 2,50s again, but that amount is perfect to move up super fast..works really well for me dude...with 1500$ i would not really bother about loosing the br again...but if u dabbel with a 10% roi in these games, well then be cautious..all skill dependant. but if u mix 3r and 8s the avg buyin is at about 8-9$ perfect for your roll imo..gl bro
