Have a plan and stick to it

hi guys, i really hope this helps you guys as this is basically what i did before i started to play online.
i decided that i dont want to tilt, ever!! so thats what i did.

I wrote down what limits i wanted to play and what games exactly, then i searched for the 20 best players in that game and took their winrates and took 50% off.
lets say i play 12$ 180s and the average roi of the best 20 players is 25% i said to myself: ok i want to reach 12% roi, that equals about 1,2$/game.ok? to keep it simple lets say that i want to make 1$/game. Its crucial that you write down the exact amount!!!
next step is: how many games do you play per day/week/month?
lets say you play 100games/day and play 20 days/month. so that means you play 2000 games /month. so all you need to do is get to 2000$ at the end of a month.
As i am a longterm thinker and i understand variance, i (we) know that 2000 games is a small sample, so i decided that the only number that is important to me is: 6 months or 12000 games. if i do not make 12000$ after 12000 games then i can start to tilt infront of my computer if i played totally perfect and am still loosing and cry at home ;).
But before i reach that point i will not shout at my computer and cry because my aces got cracked the 10th time this day or i got one outered the 5th time today and so on. That happens, and we want it to happen. Why do we want it?Well thats simple, as variance is what keeps the fish in the game, they have to win sometimes, but in the end they will loose..
what this means, why it helps and what you need to do next is:
we do not look at daily stats, we do not look at weekly stats, we write them down, but they are of no importance to us exept that its important to play our 100 games/day. its only important that we get to 12k games after 6 months and 12k profit after 6 months.
that doesnt mean that we dont review handhistories, or talk about pokerstrategy till then, it only means that we dont allow shortterm variance to control our life.
and we avoid it by haveing a plan and following it.

For me there is no upswing and there is no downswing, there are only swings on my way to 12000 $.
Dont look at your bankroll, keep playing/working. you cant do anything except playing your 100games the next day...
